The world of street art is growing every day and more talented artists are emerging as more and more city leaders realise that “real” street art serves only to bring light, colour and culture to their buildings and communities giving valid artists the possibility to show their talents to an ever receptive audience.
In this project the viewer is taken on a fascinating journey, in time and space, that leads them to discover the work of the talented Italian artist Zed1 in a complete panorama over 5 years, from 2011 to today.
Marco Burresi, a.k.a Zed1, went to a graphic design school in Florence, Italy where he started painting on walls with friends from school. Nowadays he is among the best-known names on the international street art scene, he lives his life travelling all over the world painting on walls and experimenting with new techniques, for example the fabulous second skin.
In this project we are shown various pieces that he has done over the world. The project tells the story of each artwork helping the viewer appreciate not only the art itself but also the reason behind each piece. Each piece has a story, a message for society something for us all to learn.
