\nL\u2019eclissamento del corpo femminile dall\u2019orizzonte di codici, cognizioni e convenzioni che lo hanno reso luogo pubblico per eccellenza, pu\u00f2 essere un\u2019esperienza-limite capace di consentire quel deplacement cos\u00ec necessario a interrogare e ridefinire le nostre psicogeografie, ora pi\u00f9 che mai. Se la fotografia non pu\u00f2 comprendere gli altri sensi, smarrirla \u00e8 richiamarli in causa, perch\u00e9 quando ci si smarrisce tutto il nostro essere \u00e8 chiamato a rinegoziare il sensibile con l\u2019ignoto, a rintracciare nuovamente la propria posizione relativa, accettandone la relativit\u00e0.
\nQuesti paesaggi sono il frutto dell’ombra del corpo sul corpo. Li ho cercati e trovati insieme a sette donne attraverso un pazienre lavoro, durato sette anni. La scelta di unire questi dialoghi e farne un discorso corale, di fondere quei corpi in un unico itinerario \u2013 lungi dal volerne annullare la specificit\u00e0, la forza e l\u2019identit\u00e0 \u2013 parla della natura stessa di Eclissi: produrre e indurre il pi\u00f9 possibile la perdita dell\u2019orientamento. All\u2019origine di questo progetto, del mio stesso percorso attraverso la fotografia, c\u2019\u00e8 la profonda e paziente ricerca di Gabriele Morrione e soprattutto il suo lavoro Grammatica di donna. Eclissi \u00e8 il mio tentativo di rendergli omaggio a quasi 30 anni dalla sua pubblicazione. <\/p>\n

\nThe eclipsing of the female body from the point of view of common conventions and accepted codes of behaviour can lead to the types of new experiences which are necessary if we are to question and redefine our psychological and geographical standpoints. And this is so now more than ever. If photography cannot incorporate all our senses this loss will throw them into question, because it\u2019s only when we completely lose ourselves that we have to renegotiate the unknown, sensitively tracing back our relative position, in fact accepting relativity. The resulting landscapes show the shadow of the body on the body, tracing a way of playing with the light which can seem almost circular, so that the viewer has to intuit where it comes from. I asked seven women to work together to help me. It was a long, complex and transitive piece of work. Far from wanting to negate the strength and identity of the individual I wanted to speak of nature; to maximise the loss of personal orientation.
\nAt the beginning of both this particular project and my own personal path within photography was my deep and thorough appreciation of Gabriele Morrione\u2019s work, in particular his Grammatica di Donna (The Grammar of Women)).
